Bullchart Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Bullchart mobile app ("Bullchart", "the app", "we", "us") collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Bullchart is published by Blue Ocean Tech, Mehsana, Gujarat, India. Questions: sunny.patel1955@gmail.com.
Bullchart shows breakout-stock signals and sector information for Indian markets. It is for information and education only and is not investment advice.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, precise location, phone number, or any brokerage or bank account details. Bullchart does not place trades.
2. Service providers we use
We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Remote Config, App Check): accounts, data storage, notifications, analytics and diagnostics. Firebase privacy
- Google AdMob: advertising (section 3). How Google uses information in ads
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple: optional sign-in.
- Yahoo Finance: the app requests market prices and charts directly from Yahoo, which receives your IP address and standard request information. No account information is sent.
Some providers may process data outside India, including in the United States.
3. Advertising
Bullchart is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. Ads appear as clearly labelled cards in the Signals list and at the bottom of signal details. Google and its partners may use your device's Advertising ID, IP address and app usage to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure performance and prevent fraud. Ads may be personalised unless you opt out.
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: we ask for your consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Privacy options.
- Everyone: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
4. How we use information
- Provide the app's features: signals, watchlist, price alerts and notifications.
- Keep the app secure and reliable, and prevent abuse.
- Understand usage so we can improve the app.
- Show and measure ads.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. How long we keep it
Account data (watchlist, alerts, preferences, device tokens) is kept while your account exists. Analytics and crash data are kept for the retention periods set by Google Firebase (analytics up to 14 months; crash reports about 90 days).
6. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: in the app, open Settings → Delete account. This removes your sign-in account, your watchlist and your profile. To have every remaining record erased as well (such as price alerts and notification tokens), email us and we will delete it within 30 days.
- Notifications: turn them off in the app or in your device settings.
- Access or correction: email us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have further rights, such as to withdraw consent, object to processing or complain to a data protection authority. Email us to use any of them.
7. Children
Bullchart is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete their data.
8. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with Google Firebase, with access limited to your own account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above shows the latest version; significant changes will be noted in the app or on our store listing.
